How to get here by Boat

You can also reach Pietralago by boat, enjoying a beautiful and picturesque journey on the first stretch of Lake Como.
The ticket office is located along the lakeside promenade in Como. Please pay attention and inquire at the ticket office, as not all boat trips stop at Blevio.

Once you arrive at the destination, from the docking pier, you will see the Momi Restaurant on your right. You will need to ascend towards the Lariana State Road. You can do this by following the asphalted road and its hairpin turns for about 20 minutes (Route 1 on the map).

Alternatively, if you prefer shortcuts, you can take the staircase that starts next to a characteristic stone house (Route 2 on the map).

Once you reach the main road, you need to continue uphill by taking the road that ascends towards the mountain.
If you enjoy the panoramic view of the lake, you can follow this road all the way (four hairpin turns) until you reach the Capovico parking lot.

If you prefer a faster route and don't mind the uphill climb, you can reach the same parking lot via a small but fairly steep staircase that begins at the first hairpin turn.
This staircase will take you to the top in 10 minutes. This route is suggested if you have light luggages with you.

From here continue along the uphill road. You will see a dark gray shutter on your left and after a few meters you’ll pass the metal barrier and you’ll enter the pedestrian village of Capovico, a historic and characteristic cluster of houses.

Please try to keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing the residents.

Continue for approximately 70 meters until you find a small staircase made of stones, consisting of about 6 steps, descending on the right.
Follow the staircase and at the end, turn right, where you will see a magnificent view of Lake Como and the sign for Pietralago, indicating the way to the entrance gate.
